With over a decades worth of experience in the industry, Leslie Moore is dedicated to helping women and men look and feel their absolute best. She is a graduate from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy NYC with a degree in Musical Theater and Dance. She has intensely studied theater, drama, dance, commercial acting,and stage and TV make up. As a performer and model who frequently traveled the world, she has always been involved in the art of make up. Ms. Moore's passion for make up artistry grew as she trained internationally through freelance projects. She soon realized that her interest and comfort had always been behind the camera, not in front of it! Her career path then took a turn from performer to accomplished make up artist.
Her work has been seen in many publications and commercials including: Martha Stewart, People, Domino, First Magazine, NutriSystem, The FIRM, Weddings Unveiled, Modern Bride, and Elegant Bride to name a few. Her work has been featured in national advertisments, NY Times Best Selling Books, Grammy Award Winning CD covers, and documentary and film projects. Ms. Moore has also contributed and written for InStyle, Sephora, Charleston Weddings Magazine, and A Wonderful Wedding.
Leslie's philosophy of make up artistry includes combining professional techniques with the right tools and products, creating the appearance of beautiful skin and making color choices that enhance rather than inhibit. She is dedicated to making women look and feel their absolute best, and states,"Something happens when a woman feels radiant, confident, and absolutely beautiful...something happens to them on the inside. It's like a switch or a spark! I feel if I am lucky enough to have anything to do with that moment, or better yet, if I have the opportunity to instruct them how to get that on their own....then that's what it is all about. That is the big picture!"
