How much time is needed for make up on the actual day of the wedding? We work backwards from what we call the “photoready time”. This is the time that you need to be dressed and ready to go for photos, travel to the ceremony site, etc.- usually it is a couple of hours before the ceremony. We budget 45 minutes to an hour with the Bride and 30 minutes per additional person. The Bride gets her make up done last, so her make up is the freshest.
